About Us

Memini was inspired by our Great Dane, Mack. A true gentle giant with a personality unlike any dog we had ever known. He was loving, funny, loyal, and unforgettable.

Mack was more than our pet, he was part of our family and a huge part of our lives.

We lost Mack to lymphoma when he was only four and a half years old. Far too young, and long before we were ready to say goodbye. The loss was devastating, but it also showed us how important it is to keep the memories of the pets we love close.

We had hundreds of photos and videos of Mack scattered across our phones, stored in Google Photos, and shared with family and friends. Finding a particular memory meant searching through years of pictures or asking someone else to send what they had. We wished there were one special place where everything that made Mack who he was, his photos, videos, stories, and unforgettable personality, could live together.

That wish became Memini. Memini means “I remember” in Latin.

Each memorial tag connects to a personal memorial created in honor of a beloved pet. With one simple scan, the memories that might otherwise remain scattered are brought together in one meaningful place, ready to revisit and share whenever they are needed most.

We created Memini because losing a pet means losing a member of the family. Although nothing can make that loss easy, we hope Memini gives others the comfort of knowing their pet’s story is preserved, their memories are always close, and the love they shared will never be forgotten.

Mack was the inspiration for Memini, and his memory will forever be at the heart of everything we do.
